02. What Shop Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site. Bling Bling is a member of the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO).
Shop windows and glass fronts
Both sides, plus the frames, the floor track and the handle area of the all-glass door. On large panes we work with a guided squeegee stroke, because only that gives an even drying off.
The entrance and the barrier matting zone
Most of the dirt comes in over the first few metres behind the door. The coarse grating, the clamping profile and the textile mat are vacuumed and lifted, and the tray beneath them wiped out.
The sales floor according to the type of covering
Polished porcelain stoneware, limestone, terrazzo and oiled boards each get their own dosing and their own pad. Work is done in lanes with drying afterwards, so that no damp area is left before opening.
Merchandising fixtures, plinths and mirrors
Shelves, glass shelving, clothes rails, display plinths, fitting mirrors and fitting rooms. Dust is taken off upper edges and not wiped down onto the stock.
The till area and its equipment
The till counter, the payment terminal, hand scanners, security gates and handle areas. Displays and coated fascias only with agents approved for coatings.
Stockroom, staff room and welfare area
It is the area behind the door that decides an audit: shelf feet, the pallet space, the kitchen run, the changing area and the staff WC.
03. Shop Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
A shop has a very short window: cleaning is done before opening or after cashing up, and anything not dry by nine o'clock stands on the sales floor as a slipping hazard. On top of that, almost every surface in a shop is sensitive — polished porcelain stoneware, limestone, high-gloss fronts, coated glass, brass — and a universal product leaves marks there that show up immediately in the raking light from the spots. We record the coverings and surfaces at the inspection, settle the agent and the pad for each surface, and send people who know that same shop. Access, key arrangements and the alarm connection are settled beforehand and not on the first evening of work.

06. 10 reasons for Shop Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7Price in writing, fixed after the visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9One contact for several sites
Branches run on one plan and one record of work per site, rather than on separate requests to separate contractors.
10Photographic records for head office
The branch manager does not have to describe the condition. Before-and-after photographs with a date go to the office that holds the contract.
07. Shop Cleaning in 5 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Shop Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
Before a new opening or a handover
Cement haze, film adhesive, drilling dust and silicone shadows off, before the stock goes in.
After the shopfitting has been altered
Saw dust from MDF settles in shelving profiles, light fittings and ventilation, and keeps coming down for days.
Before the Christmas trade
Shop windows, lighting, floor and fitting rooms once completely, because after that there is no free window for four weeks.
After a clearance sale and the fixtures come out
Where plinths and shelving stood there are shadows, adhesive residue and dust from wall plugs.
Before handing over to the incoming tenant
The shop goes back in the condition the lease names — with a record and photographs.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Shop Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Polished porcelain stoneware is not sealed
Polishing grinds into the surface and creates micropores that take up mopping water along with surfactant residue. The grey haze that is complained about most often in shops is usually exactly that residue and not dirt: the causes are overdosing, the missing pass with clear water, and film-forming maintenance products that have no business on this covering. It can be put right with an acidic deep clean, and avoided with sparing dosing and a second pass with clear water.
Limestone and marble forgive no acid
Both consist predominantly of calcium carbonate and are etched by acidic products; the spot goes matt and rough, and that damage cannot be cleaned away — only ground back and crystallised again. In a shop this rarely comes from the cleaning agent but from everyday use: drips of hand sanitiser, spilt citrus drinks, splashes of descaler at the coffee machine in the till area. At the inspection we mark out where no acidic product is used, and set that down in the schedule of services.
Not every pane can be taken on with a blade
Solar control, mirror and anti-reflective coatings lie on the outer face of some glass, and a glass blade draws fine lines there that stay visible against the light. Equally sensitive is glass over which cement water has run after building work: the alkali leaches the silicate surface and a zone of corrosion forms that cleaning does not improve, because material is missing there. That is why we establish before the first visit which panes are coated, and work on those exclusively with contact time and a squeegee.

●. Frequently asked questions about Shop Cleaning
What does “Stockroom, staff room and welfare area” mean for Shop Cleaning in Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg?
It is the area behind the door that decides an audit: shelf feet, the pallet space, the kitchen run, the changing area and the staff WC.
Does Shop Cleaning in Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg cover “Merchandising fixtures, plinths and mirrors”?
Yes, “Merchandising fixtures, plinths and mirrors” is part of the schedule of services. Shelves, glass shelving, clothes rails, display plinths, fitting mirrors and fitting rooms.
Is “The sales floor according to the type of covering” included in Shop Cleaning in Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg?
Yes, “The sales floor according to the type of covering” is part of the schedule of services. Polished porcelain stoneware, limestone, terrazzo and oiled boards each get their own dosing and their own pad.
How often is “Merchandising fixtures, plinths and mirrors” done for Shop Cleaning?
We set the rhythm after the site visit, based on use and soiling, and put it in writing in the schedule of services.
What does Shop Cleaning cost?
You get a price in writing even before the site visit; the site visit turns it into a fixed price. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is open-ended with three months' notice. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
