02. What Practice Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Vienna at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Floors, disinfecting
Wipe disinfection to the hygiene plan
Dental treatment unit and the area around the spittoon
The outside of the spittoon, the bowl rim, the hose runs, the control panel, the operating light, the monitor arm, the chair base and the ring of floor around the unit are worked. The suction system, the hoses and the amalgam separator remain a matter for the practice — we report limescale and spray-mist deposits rather than handling the equipment.
X-ray, CBCT and ultrasound room
The equipment arm, the stand base, the tube housing, the cable runs, the probe rest, the lead glass screen and the floor under the unit are done with their own agent and to the manufacturer's approval. Lead aprons and thyroid collars are only worked hanging and are never folded.
Physiotherapy training and treatment area
Therapy mats, wall bars, the suspension table, dumbbells, balls, the ergometer, the treadmill frame and the floor under the equipment are worked according to occupancy, and handles and padding between sessions. Weight stacks and cable runs are wiped dry afterwards so that no film of moisture is left.
Psychotherapy, consultation and counselling rooms
The seating group, the side table, the textiles, the door handle and the floor are worked at agreed times and without an audience in the waiting area. Records, test material and notes are left untouched where they lie, even if that means a table surface is skipped.
Sterile goods store and material depot
Shelves, glazed cabinets, the outside of drawer fronts and the floor under the store are kept free of dust, because dust on sterile packaging attacks its shelf life. Packs are not restacked and cardboard stays outside the room.
Viennese practices often sit on the ground floor or the mezzanine of Gründerzeit buildings: high rooms, box sash windows, stucco ceilings and parquet in waiting and consultation rooms. That means work at height for curtain tracks and top edges, and a floor that does not like mop water — parquet is worked barely damp, not mopped. Practices with public health insurance and an evening surgery, and group practices with staggered hours, give a tight cleaning window that begins with the last appointment and not with the clock. Arrival and carrying materials in need a fixed place to stop in a short stay parking zone.
03. Practice Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
Practice cleaning is offered by many providers in Austria. What is different at Bling Bling Premium Reinigung: hygienic cleaning from a single source with a permanently employed, registered core team and no subcontractors — whoever quotes carries out the work — surface disinfection with VAH-listed agents to the hygiene plan, cleaning outside consulting hours and €3m public liability. A family firm since 2014, looking after practices in every discipline discreetly. In Vienna, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Practice Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9A plan per room type, not per practice
Treatment room, imaging, training floor and consultation room get their own agents, their own sequence and their own frequency, because they have nothing in common but the address.
10Paperwork and findings stay where they are
On desks, record trays and test material the work goes around the paperwork; nothing is stacked or moved.
07. Practice Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Practice Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
Taking over a practice and succession
A handover brings out what has been out of reach behind fitted units and under equipment for years: skirting coves, cable trunking, cabinet undersides, ventilation outlets. The baseline condition is established and photographed with a date, so that the interval afterwards can be an interval.
Restarting after the holiday closure
After three weeks standing idle there is dust on sterile goods and shelving, water sits in lines and treatment units, and refrigerated equipment needs a pass. Work happens before the first appointment; flushing the water-carrying equipment stays with the practice.
Moving to new rooms and handing back the old ones
Two jobs on one date: a first clean after the fit-out, with fine plasterboard dust in the ventilation and the reveals, and handing back the old practice in the condition the lease requires.
VAH-listed disinfection to the hygiene plan
Surface disinfection with VAH-listed agents, matched to your practice's own hygiene plan.
Cleaning outside consulting hours
Before surgery, at midday or after the practice closes — operations are not disturbed.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Practice Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
In dental treatment the contaminated area is larger than the chair
The turbine, the ultrasonic scaler and the air polishing unit produce an aerosol of coolant water, saliva and blood. The coarse fraction settles within roughly one and a half to two metres around the treatment position; the fine fraction stays airborne longer and settles on the light shade, the monitor, the top edge of cabinets, the door handle and the floor. Two things follow for cleaning. The radius belongs in the plan, not only the handle surfaces of the unit, and the sequence runs from top to bottom, because otherwise freshly worked surfaces take dust from above again. Settling time belongs with it: anyone who starts wiping immediately after the last treatment distributes airborne aerosol. So the room is ventilated first, or the ventilation is left running, and the treatment room comes after the waiting room in the sequence, not before it. The spectrum of activity of the agent follows the practice hygiene plan; we work with what is laid down there and observe the contact time across the whole surface.
On the training floor the problem is sweat, not dust
Sweat is salty and slightly acidic. It dries on handles, weights, padding and equipment frames into a film of salt, and salt plus residual moisture is the standard situation for pitting corrosion: on chrome-plated dumbbells, on guide rods and on the welds of equipment frames, spots appear that can no longer be cleaned away. That is why surfaces are wiped dry after mopping, and why water alone is not enough — the film of salt needs a surfactant, but no abrasive, because the chrome layer is thin. The second point is the mats. Exercise mats made of PVC or cellular rubber contain plasticisers, and alcohol-based rapid disinfectants draw those plasticisers out: the surface first goes dull, then brittle, then cracked — and a cracked mat can no longer be brought under hygienic control, because no agent reaches the flank of the crack. Mats are therefore worked with alcohol-free preparations approved for the material and with a proper contact time, not with the spray head from the treatment room.
In the X-ray room the approval decides, not the agent
Lead aprons and thyroid collars consist of a soft heavy-metal rubber layer in a textile cover. Folding and creasing creates cracks in it that cannot be seen from outside and that cancel the protective effect at exactly that point — which is why they are stored hanging, worked hanging and never laid over the back of a chair. Cleaning uses a mild, alcohol-free agent, because alcohol and aggressive surfactants harden the coating. The lead glass in the viewing window is softer than ordinary glass and scratches even with an abrasive pad, so soft cloths only and no scrapers. On the equipment itself the manufacturer's approved list applies: sensors, detector plates and equipment arms have coated plastic surfaces on which the wrong agent causes dullness and hairline cracks, and a detector is not a consumable. Whatever has to be tested and documented at intervals stays with the operator; we report damage to an apron, a screen or a cable in writing, because otherwise a finding like that only comes to light at the inspection.

●. Frequently asked questions about Practice Cleaning in Vienna
What does Practice Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
