02. What Industrial Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Vienna at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Pits, channels, separators and the disposal route
Channels and pits are cleared out, and light liquid separators to EN 858 belong in view and in the record while that is done. Where the collected material goes is agreed with the plant beforehand.
Hall roof from inside, rooflights and luminaires
Dome lights, continuous rooflights, luminaire diffusers and reflectors are cleaned with the installation switched off and cooled down. Access by platform, scaffold or rope access with fall protection.
High-bay racking, rack beams and the sprinkler area
Dust on beams, supports and stored goods is vacuumed off, aisle by aisle and coordinated with the forklift traffic. Sprinkler heads are not covered, not sprayed and not knocked.
Hall walls, sandwich panels and the skirting zone
Plumes of dust and abrasion at panel joints, forklift contact marks, skirtings and wall junctions. Markings and safety signs stay legible and are not worked over.
Floor markings, traffic routes and roller doors
Marking strips are left without a coating, and with them door tracks, rollers, ramp edges, dock seals and bollards. A door track clogged solid is a maintenance matter, which we report.
Confined spaces and vessels only with a permit
A silo, pit, duct or shaft is entered only after atmospheric testing, with a standby attendant and a written entry permit. Without that permit nobody on our side goes in.
In Vienna the plants lie in the commercial and industrial areas of the outer districts — Liesing, Floridsdorf, Simmering and the Donaustadt — and those are predominantly medium-sized halls with mixed use across production, storage and offices. Because many of them adjoin housing directly, night work and loud equipment are limited in time, and setting up a platform needs an approved time window. Bound waste and sweepings go through commercial collectors or, where that is permissible, through the city's MA 48 collection points — the route is set down in writing beforehand.
03. Industrial Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
In production, cleaning is an intervention in an installation and not a round with a mop: isolation, maintenance windows, areas with a dust atmosphere, electrical equipment that never sees water, and residues that need a defined disposal route. Tenders rarely fail on the cleaning work itself, but because access, safeguarding and disposal were not settled beforehand — and then the gang stands in the shutdown window and waits. We agree the sequence beforehand with the maintenance department and the safety officer, choose the vacuum and the method according to the type of dust and the component, and document every section. The cost framework we give after the inspection with the person responsible in the plant. In Vienna, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Industrial Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9Repair work through the group
Cleaning exposes damage: open joints in the industrial floor, spalled coating, a leaking channel. For the repair our partner firm Skyline Bau GmbH is available; the cleaning order runs separately from it.
10Releases and permits are handled by us
Fire alarm isolation, electrical isolation and the confined space entry permit we obtain in advance and hand back with a record; the plant does not have to coordinate that alongside its own work.
07. Industrial Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Industrial Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
A machine is being sold or relocated
An installation leaves in handover condition: guards, guideways, chip trays, coolant tanks and the floor area it stood on. The condition is recorded with photographs.
After an oil spill or hydraulic failure
Absorb, pick up, work the surface over with an emulsifier, dispose of the bound material separately. The disposal route is settled beforehand and documented.
Before a new floor coating or marking
The substrate has to be free of oil, emulsion and release agent, otherwise the coating will not adhere. The preparatory cleaning decides the result of the coating.
Annual shutdown or overhaul
The only window in which machines are open, pits are empty and high-level surfaces are reachable. It is planned by the hour, because it cannot be extended.
After conversion work or the installation of machinery
Drilling dust, weld spatter, grinding dust, film and strapping remains. The earlier it is carried out, the less of it travels into guideways and controls.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Industrial Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Oil absorbent is pick-up, not the end of the matter
An oil spill is picked up with absorbent; after that, the bound material is hazardous waste and belongs in a labelled, suitable container — not in the general waste, not in the yard bin and not swept into the nearest channel. What stays in the surface is the film of oil in the capillaries: on cement screed and uncoated concrete, oil is drawn in and can only be brought back out with an emulsifier, a contact time and vacuuming, and in part a shadow remains visible. For a later coating that is the decisive point: it adheres only to an oil-free, open substrate, which is why preparatory cleaning and a check of the substrate come before the paint and not after it.
Dust in a hall is first of all a fire and explosion question
Many organic and metallic dusts form an ignitable mixture with air, and deposits on beams, crane runways and ducts are an additional fire load that is thrown up into the air by a first ignition. For areas with a hazardous dust atmosphere, zones 20 to 22 apply; there Ex-rated vacuums with conductive equipment are prescribed, and for quartz-bearing or carcinogenic dusts dust class H to EN 60335-2-69 is the lower limit, while for most other mineral and wood dusts it is class M. Blowing off with compressed air is the classic mistake: it removes nothing, it displaces and raises the dust — precisely the condition one wants to avoid.
Dry ice cleans dry, but it is not right for every room
The pellets sublime on impact, so no blasting medium and no moisture are left behind; that makes motors, terminal boxes, moulds and plant components accessible that cannot take water, and nothing has to be collected afterwards. What it does produce is gaseous carbon dioxide, which is heavier than air and collects at floor level in pits, cellars, ducts and confined spaces — there it takes ventilation, measurement and an agreement on who else is working in the area. On top of that comes a high noise level, which calls for hearing protection and coordination with the adjoining workstations.

●. Frequently asked questions about Industrial Cleaning in Vienna
What does Industrial Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
