A written schedule of services, the same registered team, and the price in writing after a free site visit.

02. What Hotel Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Salzburg at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Glazed frontage, canopy and external porch
Glass facade inside and out as far as it can be reached, canopy, porch, door profiles, ashtrays and the pavement in front of the building. This is the surface the guest sees before any other.
Underground car park, parking spaces and lift lobbies
Tyre rubber, oil drips, road-salt rims, chamber covers, bollards, signage and lift lobbies. Oil traces are absorbed and disposed of separately, not spread about.
Terrace, pool and garden furniture
Surfaces, furniture frames and cushions, parasols, pool surround and edge areas. These areas are made ready in spring and put away for winter in autumn.
Textiles and curtains in the public area
Banquette seating, decorative and curtain fabrics taken down and rehung, acoustic elements vacuumed dry, lampshades, carpet runners. The treatment follows the care label, not an estimate by eye.
Lobby, reception and entrance zone
Glass, revolving door, counter surfaces and floor care while guests are in the house, scheduled by footfall rather than by the clock. The work is done quietly, with short drying times and without leaving a smell.
Breakfast room and buffet surroundings
Tables, chairs, buffet equipment, dispensers, tongs and handles at short intervals, and the floor afterwards. Our staff are HACCP trained and work with colour-separated cloths.
Salzburg has two fully booked seasons — winter and the festival period — and short windows between them into which everything that disrupts the operation has to fit. In the old town there is no vehicle access: machines, containers and filters are moved by hand cart through narrow lanes, and for glass work at height there is often nowhere to set up a platform, so the work is done rope-supported. The high rainfall brings a great deal of water and grit into the porch and the foyer, which is why we extend the barrier matting zones and plan follow-up rounds in the entrance area from the outset; on terrace surfaces and north-facing elevations moss and algae are a recurring item.
03. Hotel Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
A hotel does not have one cleaning plan but several, and they block one another: breakfast, check-out, guest-room windows, check-in, conferences, evening service. The public areas have to be done while guests are in the house, which means quietly, dry enough to walk on quickly and without a smell, and in the breakfast area the hygiene requirement comes on top. We plan by footfall and by the rhythm of the day rather than by fixed times, staff the food area with HACCP trained people and record monitored rounds with the time. We give the cost framework after the site visit, because the size of the house, the extent of the public areas and the operating hours determine the work involved. In Salzburg, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Hotel Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9Several languages in the guest area
People ask in the corridor where the breakfast room is. Our staff speak German, English and five further languages — that is no substitute for a reception desk, but it keeps the operation calm.
10A record that is usable in an audit
Dated record of work, photographic documentation and rectification within 48 hours. Anyone who has to demonstrate to a chain, a franchise or a classification body what was done and when has it in writing.
07. Hotel Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Hotel Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
A change of management or of tenant
The incoming operation needs a survey of all the ancillary areas — kitchen, garage, bin store, plant rooms, external areas — and a schedule of services that contains them.
A closed wing goes back into service
After weeks without use there is dust on every surface, water traps are dry and the air is stale. The wing is worked through completely before the first arrival is placed in it.
Before the start of the season
The house was closed or half occupied and now everything opens up: public areas, wellness, conference rooms and back-of-house areas in one pass before the first arrival.
The previous contractor drops out mid-season
We take over on the basis of the existing schedule of services and run in alongside, rather than negotiating a two-week handover.
Before an audit, a classification or a chain visit
What gets inspected is not the lobby but the linen room, the bin store and the sanitary record. That is where the pass starts.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Hotel Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Carpet in a corridor is made worse by too much water, not better
If too much solution is put down during spray extraction and it is not extracted forcefully enough, dirt and soluble constituents from the backing and the adhesive travel upwards with the water as it dries — the mark is back two days later and often larger than before. On natural-fibre backing a brownish discolouration can also strike through, and at that point it is no longer a mark but a change in the fibre. The correct approach is pre-treatment with contact time, a small quantity of solution, thorough extraction and air movement — and the corridor comes out of the booking plan for hours to allow that, not for twenty minutes.
Grease in kitchen extract air is a fire load and a deadline
In a commercial kitchen, grease rises as an aerosol and deposits itself in the filters, the hood, the ducting and the fan. A grease filter that is not removed and cleaned regularly loses separation efficiency, and what gets past it forms a continuous layer in the duct that will carry fire along it — which is exactly why kitchen extract is a point in every fire safety inspection. The framework for commercial kitchen ventilation is set by VDI 2052, and the hygiene requirements for air handling installations by VDI 6022; internal cleaning of the ducting and the fan is a specialist service in its own right, with a certificate. We take on the filters, the hood, the grease trap and all reachable surfaces, record every pass with the date and report in writing when the ducting is due.
The barrier matting zone decides half of the cleaning work
Most of the dirt in a building comes in under shoes, and how much of it stays behind depends on the length of the zone: what works is a chain of an outer approach area, a coarse grating and an absorbent barrier mat inside, across which a guest takes several paces before reaching the floor of the building — six to eight paces is the accepted figure in the trade. If the zone is too short, the remainder is carried right through into the guest rooms and taken off again there at greater cost. A saturated or wet mat gives dirt back, which is why it is vacuumed and, when wet, exchanged rather than left lying. Winter adds road salt: it leaves white rims on natural stone and parquet, attacks metal profiles and has to be taken up damp, not swept.
Reviews from clients in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — grown since 2014, not bought. The figure is taken from the Google profile daily.

●. Frequently asked questions about Hotel Cleaning in Salzburg
What does Hotel Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
