A spray mist carries cleaning or disinfecting agent into the air as an aerosol and deposits it on surfaces that were never intended — on open starting materials, balance pans, compounding vessels and labels. The dispensary floor is a question of material, not of shine
Dispensaries frequently have natural stone slabs, terrazzo or design flooring with a ground wear layer. Limestone and terrazzo are cement or carbonate bound and react to acidic agents with dull marks that can no longer be wiped away, only ground out; design flooring tolerates neither strong alkali nor standing water at the joints.
