02. What Flat Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Klosterneuburg at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Kitchen with hardened grease
Extractor hood, splashback, handle rails and the top edges of wall units carry an oxidised film of grease that does not respond to pressure. It needs an alkaline degreaser and dwell time; aluminium parts are excluded, because alkali darkens them.
Floors by covering
Sealed parquet and laminate only mist-damp, oiled floors with oil or soap care, design flooring without solvents, natural stone without acid. Edge joints, door rails and radiator recesses are part of it, because that is where the dust sits that you cannot see standing up.
Windows, frames and fittings
Glass, frame rebate, seal and fittings are cleaned, squeegeed and wiped dry; insect screens are taken out wherever that can be done without damage. In hard water, letting glass dry by itself leaves rims — which is why it is squeegeed, not left standing.
Hand contact surfaces, textiles and upholstery
Switches, handles, handrails, banisters and remote controls; mattresses and upholstery are vacuumed, stains treated locally and spray-extracted where needed — with so little water that the core stays dry and dries through in hours rather than days.
Sign-off against a list, with photographs
At the end the work is signed off against a list, with critical spots photographed before and after. Whatever can no longer be removed — etch marks, glass corrosion, plasticiser shadows — goes in the record, not into a discussion later.
Inside cupboards and drawers
Cutlery drawers, runners, handle recesses, shelves and the larder are emptied, wiped and put back dry. What belongs where stays as found — tidying only happens if that is expressly agreed.
In Klosterneuburg the properties are mostly houses and maisonettes rather than city flats: cellar, garage, terrace and conservatory are regularly part of the job, so there is considerably more ancillary area per appointment. From the vineyards on the slope the wind carries fine loess onto terraces, window sills and into window rebates, and pollen and leaves come from the Vienna Woods and the Danube meadows — which shifts the emphasis to windows, outdoor surfaces and insect screens. The journey from Vienna is short, so additional visits at short notice are feasible.
03. Flat Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
A flat of sixty to a hundred square metres holds more different surfaces than an entire office floor: a marble washstand next to a cement joint, oiled parquet next to design flooring, an acrylic bath next to a coated tap, and glass that has carried limescale for years. Going through all of that with one all-purpose cleaner and one sanitary cleaner causes damage in a single visit that nobody reverses — and the cleaning gets the blame. We record the coverings before the first visit, set the agents room by room, photograph existing damage with the date, and assign the same registered staff on a fixed cycle. The cost framework comes after the site visit, because condition, fittings and cycle determine the work, not the number of rooms. In Klosterneuburg, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Flat Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9Putting it right instead of arguing
If something is left open after a visit, we come back within 48 hours at no charge, with the same person who knows the flat. That is settled faster than an argument about a mark.
10Cover that knows your flat
Every flat has a named second member of staff who has been trained on it and knows the property sheet — floors, agents, alarm, pets. During holidays no stranger arrives without a briefing.

Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Flat Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
After standing empty for a while
An investment flat or second home has stood empty for months: dust on every surface, dried-out traps, mildew marks in the coldest corner. First establish the condition, then photograph it, then hand it over.
After a clearance by relatives
Once the furniture is out, the condition is laid bare: impressions in the flooring, adhesive residue, grease film behind appliances, dust behind fitted cupboards. That is a different scope of work from regular cleaning.
Before a viewing or letting photographs
For photographs and viewings, what counts is glass, joints, kitchen fronts and the sheen of the floor. We work the sight lines from the entrance inwards and leave the flat aired and dry.
When the smell of smoke stays in the flat
Nicotine lays a sticky, yellowish tar film on walls, ceilings, door leaves and light switches, and that film gives off the smell. It can be taken off with an alkaline agent; if a residual smell remains, it takes a barrier primer and repainting — our partner firm Skyline Bau can take that on.
An allergy household in spring
Pollen sits in curtains, insect screens, window rebates and upholstery. Work is done with a filter stage and damp-bound dust pick-up, and mattresses and upholstery are vacuumed separately.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Flat Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Vinegar is not an all-purpose cleaner, and with chlorine it is dangerous
Citric acid and vinegar cleaners etch natural stone containing lime: marble washstands, limestone tiles and travertine develop matt patches that only go away with refinishing. Cement-based joints are eroded by acid, and coated taps lose their shine over time. Above all, an acidic sanitary cleaner must never meet a product containing chlorine or active oxygen — that produces chlorine gas, and in a small, poorly ventilated bathroom that becomes dangerous quickly. We work to a plan of agents for each flat, documented and without mixing.
Dark rims under furniture feet and at the window board are not dirt
Plasticisers and anti-ageing agents from rubber feet, castors and felt glides migrate into vinyl and design flooring; the discolouration sits in the wear layer and cannot be cleaned out, whatever the product. In the window reveal, the black line is usually mould at the coldest point in the flat: the surface drops below the dew point, and from around eighty per cent surface humidity the fungus grows. We take it off at the surface with a suitable agent, but the lasting remedy is ventilation, heating or a structural improvement. We record both in the initial survey, so that the cleaning is not later held responsible.
Self-cleaning ovens lose their function to cleaning products
Pyrolytic ovens have a particularly smooth, heat-resistant enamel; catalytic ovens have rough catalytic panels that oxidise grease at high temperature. An alkaline oven gel or spray attacks both: the enamel goes dull and then picks up dirt faster, and the catalytic layer is clogged and stops working. The door seal and the aluminium panels of many appliances react to alkali as well. The proper approach is therefore: run the pyrolytic programme and then only take out the ash, treat catalytic surfaces dry, and clean the removable inner pane separately. We look at the appliance to see what is fitted, instead of applying the same product everywhere.

●. Frequently asked questions about Flat Cleaning in Klosterneuburg
What does Flat Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
