02. What Event Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Vienna at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Night cleaning through to handback
After the strike: sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming textile areas and stain treatment, until the hall goes back in the agreed condition — with photographs of the final state.
Cloakroom, foyer and box office
Torn-off ticket stubs, cardboard, water off umbrellas and slush collect where everyone stands at the same time. That area is dealt with separately during the admission and again after the end.
Catering zone and glass return
Serving tables, return trolleys, the wash-up area and the routes between them. Where food is being presented, staff trained in food hygiene do the work and the equipment stays separate from the other zones.
Backstage and dressing rooms
Dressing rooms, the green room, sanitary areas and crew catering are refreshed between programme blocks, not only after the last act.
Incident cleaning during the event
Broken glass, vomit or a burst drinks carton each need their own procedure straight away, with the area cordoned, the material taken up and the surface disinfected. One member of staff is kept free for that during the event.
Forecourt, smoking area and access road
Cigarette ends, cups, chewing gum and flyers on the pavement, the forecourt and in the planting at the edges. That is the area the neighbourhood notices first the next morning.
From January into February, event cleaning in Vienna hangs on the ball season: several halls, galleries and cloakrooms in palaces and public buildings, with historic parquet and natural stone floors on which confetti, wax and sparkling wine must not be left lying. Night work in residential areas is restricted where noise and outdoor areas are involved, so the loud equipment only comes out in the morning. For deliveries and departure we plan in the short-stay parking zone and the loading bay, and the separately collected fractions go through the building's own contract or the city's collection points.
03. Event Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
An event does not have one cleaning window but three: before the doors open, during the event itself, and after the strike, usually within 24 hours and for the greater part at night. Quotations rarely fail on thoroughness; they fail because the night shift is too thinly staffed while the hall has to go back the following morning. We plan the three windows separately, staff them from our permanently employed core team and record the final condition photographically. Whatever can no longer be removed from the flooring goes in the record, and not first in the venue's claim. No subcontractors: whoever quotes for the work carries it out. In Vienna, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Event Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9Several languages in contact with guests
In the hall people ask where the cloakroom is. Our staff speak German, English and five further languages — that does not replace a hosting service, but it keeps things calm.
10One member of staff stays free for incidents
Broken glass and spilt drinks are dealt with immediately during the event, because someone is allocated to it and nobody has to be pulled off other work.
07. Event Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Event Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
A multi-day Advent market or punch stand
Daily attention to the stand area, cup returns, the sanitary units and the surrounding areas, with the final clean after the strike.
An open-air event on grass or gravel
On unpaved ground the litter is picked up rather than swept, and small items such as bottle caps and cable ties are deliberately searched out before the ground is handed back.
A product presentation in a showroom
A few hours of programme, and the next day it is a sales or display space again. The cleaning is done overnight, without touching the exhibits.
A company party on your own premises
The party is in the office, and on Monday morning it is a workplace again. The cleaning is done overnight, including kitchen and sanitary areas.
A trade fair or congress day
Several halls, stand areas and aisles, with cleaning between programme blocks and overnight before the next day.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Event Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Vomit and body fluids are a procedure with an order to it
Proteins fix with heat: hot water makes the stain on textile permanent, so it is taken up cold and only disinfected afterwards, with contact time rather than a spray and a wipe. We work with listed disinfectants and single-use materials, the waste goes separately, and after the contact time the area is worked over neutral so that no residue is left sticky. A masking deodorising spray replaces none of those steps.
Confetti and glitter are a material problem, not a sweeping problem
Coloured paper confetti bleeds onto light-coloured natural stone and onto unsealed screed as soon as it gets wet: the dye draws into the capillaries and once dry cannot be got out with water. Glitter made from plastic film is held fast by the flat weave of an exhibition carpet and needs a brush roller and several vacuum passes, not one. Before the event we say which effect is defensible over which flooring, and we protect the surface beneath.
Sugar and alcohol leave a film that water does not dissolve
Spilt liqueur, syrup and energy drink dry to a sticky layer which binds dust and makes a noise under shoes. On polymer-coated floors it only comes away with a mildly alkaline cleaner and contact time, and afterwards a neutral pass follows, because surfactant residue is sticky too. On textile flooring the stain belongs in the spray extraction before the sugar crystallises out.

●. Frequently asked questions about Event Cleaning in Vienna
What does Event Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
