02. What Photo Studio Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Linz at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Equipment surroundings and truss
Lamp housings, stands, rails, truss and cable runs are dusted dry or barely damp, keeping clear of contacts and connection points.
Glass, acrylic and props
Front glass, diffusers, mirrors and shooting surfaces with plenty of water and a mild surfactant solution, without ammoniated glass cleaner and without wiping dry.
Make-up, changing room and ancillary rooms
The make-up station with its film of powder and hairspray, mirror lights, washbasins, the wardrobe and the kitchenette — the surfaces the team works at rather than the ones the camera sees.
Ventilation, air conditioning and filters
Supply-air grilles, recirculation outlets, filter mats and the louvres of split units are the source in a studio that keeps delivering again after every clean. They belong before the surfaces, not after them.
Floor boxes, cable trunking and ceiling rails
Floor-box lids opened and vacuumed out, cable trunking cleared, running rails and pantograph rollers taken off dry. That is where the dust collects that every movement releases again.
Prop, case and storage area
Shelves, cases, castors, stand bags and small-parts boxes. Whatever comes from the store onto the set brings the store's dust with it.
Studios in Linz work heavily for industry and advertising, some of them in the Tabakfabrik and the harbour area. The iron oxide dust from the surroundings is dark, fine and adheres well: on a white-painted cove and light-coloured vinyl rolls it shows as a pattern of spots that smears when wet if it is not picked up first. For shoots directly on works premises there are access rules and a safety briefing, and the equipment taken in — cases, stands, trolleys — is cleaned before it goes back to the studio.
03. Photo Studio Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
In a studio, cleaning is not judged by impression but by retouching time: whatever lands on the sensor costs hours at the computer afterwards. The difference lies in sequence and timing — disturbed dust takes hours to settle, and the most thorough clean an hour before the shoot is the worst one. We work from the top down, vacuum through a fine-dust filter and place the appointment so that the air comes to rest before the production starts. Which surface tolerates what — acrylic, molton, painted cove, equipment — is settled during the briefing on site. In Linz, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Photo Studio Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9Confidentiality on closed productions
Permanently employed staff, no subcontractors: whoever quotes the work carries it out. Photographs are taken only of surfaces, never of sets, props or artwork.
10We do not work into the cyclorama
The cove is a shooting surface, not a floor. Where only paint will help, we say so — a polished-back patch shows up more in the picture than the mark did before.
07. Photo Studio Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Photo Studio Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
After conversion or new build
Fine construction dust keeps settling out for days. That calls for several passes spaced apart rather than one thorough one.
After shoots with artificial snow, flour or coloured powder
Pigment and starch settle in rails, ventilation outlets and cable runs and come back out for weeks if they are left there.
A regular cycle in a rental studio
Between bookings: cove, floor, equipment surfaces and ancillary rooms, so that every hirer starts from the same condition.
Before shooting reflective goods
Dark, glossy products show every particle in their surroundings. Here the environment counts for more than the surface under the object.
After using fog or a hazer
The fog film sits on every surface, in the floor and in the filters. That is a pass of its own and cannot be taken along in a normal appointment.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Photo Studio Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
The fog film is a residue, not a smell
Fog and haze fluid consists mostly of glycols, which condense as a thin, sticky film on every surface: it binds dust, makes smooth floors slippery and lodges in ventilation grilles and filter mats. Water alone will not lift it; it takes a surfactant solution with contact time and a clear follow-up pass. Smoke detectors, sprinkler heads and movement sensors are treated dry and at a distance while this is done, because moisture there sets them off.
Wiping dry charges the surface and attracts dust
Plastic, acrylic and painted surfaces take on an electrostatic charge when wiped dry and then pull the dust back out of the air — which often only shows up on set under raking light. Work is therefore done barely damp with an antistatic solution and without rubbing afterwards. Compressed air is the wrong approach in a studio: it picks up no particle at all, it distributes it into the cove, the equipment and the air, where it stays for hours.
A studio with recirculated air distributes every particle a second time
Where room air is recirculated, the filter grade decides what goes back into the room: a coarse pre-filter mat holds lint but not the fine-dust fraction, and a clogged mat is bypassed rather than passed through. Filters and grilles therefore belong to be cleaned or changed before the production, not after it, and the system should keep running after cleaning for as long as the dust is settling. We report the condition of the filters with a photograph; the change itself goes through your own plant contractor.

●. Frequently asked questions about Photo Studio Cleaning in Linz
What does Photo Studio Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
