02. What Final Cleaning at Bling Bling covers
The scope of work in Graz at a glance — what the contract says and what actually happens on site.
Stainless steel and lift cars
Car walls, mirrors, the control panel, door reveals and railing profiles with film residue, adhesive marks and fingerprints — worked along the direction of the grain, not in circles.
External blinds and perimeter joints
Slats, guide rails, window boards, silicone and drylining junctions. Fresh joints are not put under load until they have cured.
Fine cleaning after completion of the works
Cement haze, silicone and adhesive residue, paint splashes, labels and sanding dust. This assumes that offcuts and packaging have already left the site.
Glass and frames with construction soiling
Film adhesive, mortar splashes, silicone residue. Mechanical work only after a test and only on uncoated glass, otherwise with contact time and a pad.
Sanitary areas and tiling first-cleaned
Grout haze dissolved with an acid, silicone joints, covers, taps and outlets. On surfaces containing lime the agent is changed.
Interior fit-out and fitted units
Cupboard interiors, reveals, door linings, door leaves, socket surrounds, radiators including the gaps between, ventilation grilles and skirtings.
Refurbishments in the old-town conservation area are supervised by the expert commission, and that has consequences for the final clean: historic windows, lime plasters and stone surrounds call for mild agents and hand work, and acid is ruled out on those surfaces. Sites in the narrow lanes have little space to stand and limited water and power connections, which is why we agree equipment and water supply beforehand.
03. Final Cleaning: Bling Bling vs. the competition
Final cleaning means this: the building work is finished, the handover inspection is the day after tomorrow, and the dust from the last sanding is still everywhere. The effort does not lie in the areas but in the residues — cement haze, silicone, film adhesive, labels, dust in joints and ventilation grilles — and in the dust that continues to fall from voids and suspended ceilings after the first pass. We therefore plan two passes with time in between, use acid only after testing the substrate, and document every room for the inspection. No subcontractors: whoever quotes for the work carries it out. In Graz, Bling Bling works with the same core team that knows the building.

06. 10 reasons for Final Cleaning from Bling Bling
What a cleaning company has to be measured against — and which of it can be verified.
1In business since 2014
A family firm, not a franchise and not a broker — whoever quotes also carries out the work.
2Registered core team
Permanently employed and properly registered. No chain of subcontractors where nobody is liable at the end.
3The same people every time
The team knows the building, the access and the routines. Cover is arranged and named in advance.
4€3m public liability
Personal injury, property and financial loss covered; the certificate is attached to the quotation.
5RKI/VAH-listed agents, HACCP
Listed agents, trained staff, a cleaning and disinfection plan for each building.
6Multilingual
German, English and five further languages — the briefing gets through.
7No price without a site visit
A flat price over the phone rarely holds. After the visit the framework is set out in writing. A monthly flat rate applies to weekly recurring cleaning; one-off and deep cleans by effort - hourly, per square metre or flat - travel included.
8Dated proof
Record of each visit and photo documentation, reported monthly.
9An airlock and a route are set up
Where completion is floor by floor, we separate the finished areas from the running site rather than cleaning the same thing twice.
10Dust class M as standard
Vacuuming is done with tested dust class M equipment, because screed dust contains silica and a domestic machine blows it back into the room in an even finer form.
07. Final Cleaning in 4 more cities
Bling Bling works in Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg and Klosterneuburg — with its own staff on site, not with subcontractors hired in.
08. Final Cleaning for 5 typical situations
The same service looks different depending on the occasion — these five situations come up most often.
Before a shop or restaurant opens
Shopfitting leaves shavings, labels, film and silicone residue on glass, furniture and display cases.
Floor-by-floor handover with the site still running
The lower floors are finished while work continues above. We set up an airlock and a route so that dirt is not carried back into the completed area.
Before the official final inspection
For the authority's inspection, escape routes, plant rooms and markings have to be clear and visible — that is more a matter of clearing and freeing up than of shine.
An interim clean during the construction phase
Where following trades cannot work because dust and offcuts are lying about, an interim clean is done — otherwise the dirt migrates into the finished surfaces.
A show flat for viewings
One unit is brought forward and put into presentable condition even though the building is still a site — including the access route and a section of the stairwell.
★ Worth knowing
What is often misjudged about Final Cleaning
Said up front, on the facts — not after the invoice.
Plaster dust first dry, then damp
Drylining dust consists essentially of gypsum. If water reaches it before it has been vacuumed up, a tenacious haze forms which dries onto glass, tiles and floors and can afterwards only be removed mechanically. The order, then, is not a matter of taste: vacuum completely first, working from the top down, then go over damp. Anyone who starts straight away with a mop does the work twice.
Protective films have a shelf life
Window protection films and frame tapes are intended for a few weeks. If they lie on the south face through a summer, the adhesive cross-links under UV light: the film tears into strips and the adhesive residue stays fast to the glass, or takes the powder coating of the frame with it when pulled off. We report films of that kind as soon as we see them, and dissolve residues with contact time rather than with a blade.
Rough construction cleaning and final cleaning are two separate services
Clearing away offcuts, packaging and coarse dust is the responsibility of the contractor carrying out the building work, and it is the precondition for the fine cleaning working at all. If the team arrives on a site that has not been cleared, the same thing gets cleaned twice. At the initial survey we say what condition the area should be in and when the appointment sensibly falls — usually after the last trade that generates dust.

●. Frequently asked questions about Final Cleaning in Graz
What does Final Cleaning cost?
There is no price before the site visit, and a figure given over the phone rarely holds. We look at surfaces, access and time windows, and then the cost framework is set out in writing with a schedule of services. What changes the price: the area, the frequency, the condition at handover and the time of day the work is done. Two rules apply everywhere: a monthly flat rate is only offered for recurring cleaning at least once a week, including stairwells. One-off jobs, first cleans and deep cleans are billed by effort - depending on the service by the hour at a higher rate, by square metre or as a flat price - and travel time there and back counts.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes, free of charge and without obligation. It is the only way to quote seriously, so we treat it as part of the offer, not as a service to be paid for.
Does the same person come every time?
Yes. The team is permanently employed and knows the building, the access arrangements and the routines. Cover is arranged in advance and named, and it works from the building log, not from a verbal handover.
Is your staff properly registered?
All of them, with social insurance. No chain of subcontractors in which nobody is liable at the end. Proof is provided on request.
What insurance is in place?
Public liability of €3m, covering personal injury, property damage and financial loss. The certificate is attached to the quotation.
What happens if something is not right?
It is put right within 48 hours, in writing, at no extra cost. Measured against the schedule of services and a joint inspection, not against an impression.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes — early, late, at weekends or on public holidays. In occupied buildings, daytime cleaning in sections is often the better option, because the client sees the work and can raise anything immediately.
Do I have to provide materials or a room?
Materials and equipment we bring. What helps is a lockable store with a slop sink, space for the trolley and somewhere for pads to dry — damp pads in a closed bag are the most common source of smell in an otherwise clean building.
What notice period applies?
The contract is terminable monthly. There is no minimum term and no automatic extension by the year.
Do you also work in English?
Yes — German, English and five further languages. The briefing gets through, which matters more on site than it sounds.
Which documents do I get?
A schedule of services with frequencies, a dated record of each visit, photo documentation before and after, and a monthly report.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within a few working days of the quotation being accepted. Short-notice jobs are most readily possible in Vienna, because travel times within a district are short.
