Between the port, Industriezeile and the chemical park lies Austria's largest continuous industrial area, and almost every plant has an administrative building attached. The soil entering there is not household dust but metal abrasion, oil mist and grinding dust carried into the office on shoes and workwear. A floor must be available for one night without operations. Near the university that is between July and September; in plant administration during works holidays. We therefore plan deep cleaning a year ahead, not spontaneously.

Post-war and modern administrative buildings often have continuous glass partitions. Washer and squeegee in one lane, blade wiped after each lane. Steel windows in listed industrial buildings such as the Tabakfabrik follow special rules because the frames are sensitive.

Shared kitchens and break rooms in plant administration are used intensively. We disinfect contact surfaces selectively: door handles, vending machines, fridge handles. Blanket disinfection damages surfaces and adds nothing hygienically.

Sanitary facilities in plant administration serve far more people than an office of the same size. Water changes every two or three units rather than every 60 square metres, acidic against limescale and urine scale, alkaline against grease — never mixed.

In administrative areas with carpet we brush-vacuum traffic lanes daily. Deep cleaning is a separate service with its own costing and does not belong in the monthly flat rate.
